
Dr. St Louis is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He has been active in the practice of Neurosurgery in Orlando since 1983. His interest is in general neurosurgery with a special interest in brain tumors.
Dr. St. Louis completed his internship and neurological surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During his training, he received the William E. Lower Fellowship prize for the most outstanding thesis presented on a clinical subject. He obtained special training in pediatric neurosurgery as a fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.
Dr. St Louis received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. St Louis is a member of the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Florida State Neurosurgical Society, and other associations.
He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Sections of Brain Tumors, Spine, as well as the Section on Pediatrics.
He retains active privileges at Orlando Regional Medical Center and Florida Hospital Orlando, where he currently serves as the Director of the Neuro Critical Care Unit. Dr. St. Louis maintains a strong relationship with the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute, and is actively involved in research, clinical trials, and preventative programs. He has published numerous articles on topics of neurosurgical interests. He also lectures and teaches students at various levels.
Dr. St. Louis has been married to his wife Debra, for over 30 years. They have three children and enjoy traveling together.
