| Intracranial Pressure Presentation |
| On September 3, 2009, Dr. St. Louis lectured to the participants of the at Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) review course. This prepares neuroscience nurses for certification tests. He spoke about intracranial pressure (ICP), which is the pressure exerted by the brain, blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) on the outside barrier of the brain. Dr. St. Louis discussed how to recognize and effectively manage raised ICP in the hospital setting by using evidence-supported techniques like external ventricular drains and ICP monitors. |
